I am Josie Cowap, a 21 year old freelance film photographer based in the North West UK. I am particularly inspired by live music and capturing all of its atmosphere and raw energy on film!

The process of creating film photographs gives me a way to really connect with the work I produce. I love the slower and more intentional process it forces, and in a world becoming more and more digitalised, that is really important to me. Film stands the test of time and I find the analog process to be a refreshing break from perfection, instant online validation, and digital overload.

I have experience working on live music shoots, portraits, behind-the-scenes shoots, promotional work, and album shoots. I specialise in black and white; however, I also offer colour.
